Love Thy Neighbour As Thy Self

We can't do great things in this life . . .
We can only do small things with great love.

-- Mother Theresa

One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed
a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing son?”
The boy replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean.
The waves are up and the tide is going out.  If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”
“Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?
You can’t make a difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish,
and threw it back into the waves.  Then, smiling at the man, he said…”
I made a difference for that one.”

Each action has its importance, In this story, the boy was trying to save the starfish. No one is going to give him any awards for saving the star fishes and the star fishes are not going to thank him either, for saving their life, the boy knows it, but still he does it, why?..... because, he cares…. He  values his service and he knows that he has done something lasting, something memorable for all the star fishes he threw in the ocean.

Likewise, whatever small things  you do in real life, do it with love and care, it makes a lot of difference . Just know that the power to make a small difference in the life of others is in you.  Sometimes, there would not be anybody to appreciate you. But still, don’t let this opportunity pass by because, the difference is being made in your life.

Fill each moment with small, kind acts. And you’ll fill your life with great and lasting love & value for yourself.

Bye & Take Care
